Day 01 -- 9/9/19

The Homeless Chronicles

This was the first day, the day we had to be out, and we had a few last things still left for our last nights there.  A duffel bag, a little this, a little that.  It was an early morning leaving that morning, as it was around 6 something A.M.  We knew we would have to hoof it to the storage unit, which was a good amount of blocks away from where we were previously lived.  It was even more of a hoof because of the hubbeast's health issues, so it took a while for us to get there.  Needless to say, the day was both productive and unproductive at the same time.  Meh.  After all that, the hubbeast had to go see his therapist, who spent most of their session trying to get things situated so we could be able to have a place to go to live.  That remains a work in progress. I then had to go to work later that night, so it was naptime and then work.  And working was horrendous, because I was still very tired from doing the moving out thing, so at times, I would be standing at my station and nearly dozing off while standing.  You know it's bad if that starts happening.
