My Dream Home

People talk about their dream home, and the possibility of getting it. I don't think I will ever to have mine, because everything is too expensive. Maybe 2 stories, not including the basement, and an attic.

The living room would have a fireplace where we could curl up with a good book on cold nights.

The kitchen would be big enough to have lot of cabinets and counter space, with an island in the middle of it.  FYI, I do love to cook and bake, and having a really nice kitchen is something I dream about.  Sure, the place we live in now is cozy for the two of us, but the kitchen is a bit small.  Can't really spread out too much.

The bathroom is another thing that I dream about.  I have always wanted a bathroom with clawfoot tub.  I just love how big they can be and the fact that they have feet.

I would need one room for my office/studio, as I would need a space to work on my blogging or podcasting.

There would have to be bedrooms for each of my kids (I have two, and yes, I would let them decorate them however they wanted) and for my husband and I, plus a guest room, should my mother decide to come and visit.

Last but not least, we would probably turn the basement into a bunker of sorts, so the hubbeast would be able to prepare for any apocalypse scenario.

I know it seems like a lot, but dreams are free.  What I may want for a house may not coincide with your dreams, but who cares?
