Book of Shadows: What's in it?

Listed here are some examples of what your BoS should have.

You can thank Phyllis Curott for this bit of information, in the book titled Witch Crafting. Considering that not everyone may follow the Wiccan beliefs, like she does, keep that in mind when you read it.

I will give the basic gist here. Don't worry. You will know this soon enough. It takes time, patience and, most importantly, practice.

-Title Page
-Dedication Page
-Invocation of the Goddess
-Invocation of the God

You should also have correspondance about these things too, such as:

-Your Altar (diagrams of the markings for your tools)
-What's in Sacred Space
-Closing Circle
-Rituals
-Esbats (I'll explain that later, too)
-Full Moon rituals
-the Wheel of the Year
-Self-Dedication and/or initiation ritual
-Chants, dances, songs, prayers, invocations, words of wisdom, and quotes from others
-Wisdom and insights that have been given to you in ritual, meditation, etc.
-Tools of the Craft and their markings.
-Magickal Info

If you are already feeling lost, again, don't worry. This guide will go nice and easy, just like tubing down a river on a summer day.
