Old Friends and Promises of Employment

So yesterday, since it's now October 2, 2012, three awesome things happened.

It was my mother's birthday, so Happy Birthday, Mom.

I received a call from a potential place of employment.  They wanted me to go in for an interview on Wednesday at 4:30pm.  I have to tell ya that I'm very happy about this.  I am hoping that it will go well and I will have a job by the end of it.

I talked to an old friend that I hadn't spoke with in years.  I was kind of worried at first that she would be mad if I told her about my engagement to Will.  But you know, she was actually cool about it.  So now I have someone I can openly talk to about wedding things and not worry about someone trying to change my mind about wearing a black wedding dress.  We didn't stop talking until maybe 15 minutes ago. And she might text me later.

So yesterday was a good day.  Today should be great, too.  I am hoping, anyway.
